I've been into photography since I can remember. There are photographs of me holding a camera as far back as my elementary school days. When digital photography came into market I can recall taking photos with an old Sony digital camera that took a floppy disk. That was high-tech back then. Now adays I shoot with a Nikon D300 camera which I've had for a number of years. I like the D300 a lot, although there are newer models on the market that are higher megapixels, the D300 suits my needs just fine. I've always been a Nikon fan. I can't expain why, maybe for the same reasons people like Apple. I just believe Nikon makes a great product.
I find myself shooting mainly landscape photos and love shooting on the water. Born and raised on Long Island I'm surrounded by water, so I'm guessing that is one reason for my preferences in location. I typically make HDR images because I love the effect. Nothing tells a story like an HDR of a sunset on the water.
I thank you for visiting my site and please look around. I enter various photography contests around Long Island throughout the year so keep your eyes out for my work.
